This Week's Spotlight: Google Cultural Institute

Google Cultural Institute derived from what was initially called the Google Art Project back in 2011.  At its inception, the purpose of the project was to highlight important works of art and cultural material and make them accessible to the world.  Google has continually furthered this project so much so that now there are over 6 million items available for viewing.  Works from world museums, historical documents, world events, famous people-- all can be found within Google Cultural Institute.
